Safe-Guard Dewormer Suspension 10% is an oral fenbendazole dewormer for beef cattle, dairy cattle, and goats. The 100 mg/mL suspension helps remove and control lungworms, stomach worms, and intestinal worms in cattle, as well as control specific stomach worms in goats. Administer the dose accurately based on the current body weight and administer orally to avoid underdosing.

How to Use

Dosage & Administration Instructions

Dose Rate: 2.3 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) body weight, administered orally.

Dose Conversion: Give 2.3 mL for each 100 lb body weight.

Cattle Use: Treat lungworms, stomach worms, and intestinal worms as directed.

Goat Use: Treat labeled stomach worms using the same dose rate.

Avoid Underdosing: Base dosing on current weight to reduce resistance risk.

Precautions

Human Safety: Not for use in humans; keep out of children’s reach.

Calf Restriction: Do not use in beef calves under 2 months, dairy calves, or veal calves.

Cattle Slaughter: Do not slaughter cattle within 8 days after treatment.

Dairy Milk Discard: Discard milk during treatment and for 48 hours after treatment.

Goat Warnings: Do not use in lactating goats; slaughter withdrawal is 6 days.
