What is the age for administering Endovac-Porci in pigs?

Is the Endovac-Porci vaccine administered with a booster?

Yes, Endovac-Porci is professionally recommended to be given as a first administration, followed by a booster dose two to three weeks later, for optimal protection. However, recommendations may differ, in which case precise timing should adhere to the suggestions of the attending veterinarian.

Dosage & Administration:

Two doses are necessary for optimum immunization. Inject 2 ml intramuscularly. Inject 2 ml intramuscularly 2-3 weeks following the first dose. Shake well before each use and administer using the normal aseptic technique. Historically, annual revaccination has been recommended for this product. This need for this booster has not been established. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency.

Caution:

Store at 2°-8° C (35°-46° F). Do not Freeze. Do not use within 21 days of slaughter. Use entire contents when opened. Do not mix with other products. Transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. If an anaphylactic response occurs, administer epinephrine or its equivalent. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
