Possible Side Effects

Hypercalcemia: Hypercalcemia is possible with oversupplementation. Follow dosage guidelines carefully and do not exceed recommended doses.

Post-Treatment Hypocalcemia: After the initial rapid blood calcium increase, there is a rapid decrease that may put the cow back into a hypocalcemic state approximately 4 hours later; monitor the animal closely following treatment.

Tissue Injury if Administered Outside Vein: Avoid administration of intravenous solution intramuscularly or subcutaneously, as it will cause tissue necrosis.
