This veterinary liniment is a topical analgesic and antiseptic liniment specifically made for horses. Absorbine Veterinary Liniment is designed to provide temporary relief for muscular soreness, joint pain, swelling, stiffness, and minor injuries caused by overexertion or arthritis. This topical analgesic has been used and trusted by horse owners for over 125 years!

Directions For Use

This product can be used in various ways depending on the condition it is being used for.

Legs & Joints: Can be applied to sore areas for fast relief of temporary muscle & joint soreness, swelling, and/or stiffness. This product can be applied twice daily or more as needed.

Arthritis: Deep penetrating heat soothes the pain and swelling of tissues due to arthritis. Rub on stiff and sore joints before and after turning out for more effective pain relief.

Muscle Soreness: To relieve pain and stiffness, apply to desired areas and cover with blanket. May be repeated two or more times a day as needed.

Body Wash: Cooling body wash refreshes a tired horse. Astringents wash away sweat and dirt. Antimicrobial formula disinfects. Herbal oils shine the coat.

Warm Up: A rub down increases circulation to muscles and helps prevent injuries.

Post Work Out: Applying helps speed muscle recovery by increasing blood flow to the affected area, helping to reduce soreness, stiffness, swelling and pain.

Setting Up: Professional trainers recommend apply after a workout to all four legs and wrapping lightly.

Hoof Disinfectant: To disinfect the porous hoof sole and frog and help prevent bacterial and fungal infections, you can apply a hoof disinfectant once a week. If there are specific hoof conditions such as abscesses, cracks, delamination, thrush, or white line disease, the hoof disinfectant can be used daily for treatment.
